Regional Science Fairs

Elementary school section

One section of the Science Fair Regional Finals, organized from February to May by the nine regional CLSs, is dedicated to projects in the Juvenile category presented by students in elementary school.

The Science Fair, Elementary School Final in the Greater Montréal Region takes place in May and brings together French- and English-language projects from the Montréal Island, Montérégie, Lanaudière, Laurentians and Laval regions.

Please note that the Super Expo-sciences Bell, Québec Final, as well as the higher levels of competition, are not accessible to exhibitors in the Juvenile category.

If you are interested in coaching a Science Fair project, read the elementary school section for additional information.

High school and cégep section

The 12 Science Fair Regional Finals in Québec are organized by the nine regional CLSs.

The Regional Finals are open to schools and to the general public. This initiative gives exhibitors the rewarding experience of presenting their project to the general public and to scientists.

Because the finals take place over several days, they give hundreds of students a chance to meet, talk about their respective interests and, of course, make friends who share their passion.

The Regional Finals are generally held in March and organizers select exhibitors to represent their region at the Super Expo-sciences Bell, Québec Final.

To participate in the Super Expo-sciences Bell, Québec Final, the winners of the Regional Finals are chosen based on the final results. However, several regions create their delegation based on a previously established ratio of Experimentation, Design and Study projects.
